hellos and goodbyes

This weekend Ewan spent time with four of the cutest little girls you could ever imagine, and he slept through almost all of it. He hasn't yet quite figured out how to impress the ladies. Well, one of them was his cousin, so we'll forgive that.

Today we all met our friends' Greg and Yenari's precious 11-week-old, Hazel. Ewan and Hazel are about the same size, and last time Hazel went to the doctor, she was in the 90th percentile for her height. Hmm. Ewan also got to meet our friends' Dogan and Linda's 3 1/2-year-old Sophie, and one-year-old Lauren:
Yesterday we had a sad goodbye with Ewan's Aunt Shannon and cousins Matt, Jake, and Lily. We will miss them, and hope they will continue to consider moving back out here. We would love for Ewan to grow up with his cousins around, especially Lily, who was born exactly 11 months before him. Here are a couple photos of Ewan and Lily, and Jake holding Ewan:
