We also took the kids for their first ice cream cones. We went to the same place I had my very first cone about 30 years ago (although it has a different name now). Ewan wasn't quite sure what to make of it.

But big girl Sadie won the prize for the best mess:
After ice cream, we played at the "airplane park," where we also used to go as kids.
We had so much fun, but not nearly enough time together. If only we lived a mile away like we did when we were kids...
yes, let's live a mile apart again! i miss you! thanks for this wonderful post, it was a great visit. the videos are adorable, and i love that sadie and ewan have a documented history together. big hugs and kisses.
